JWs Imitate their faith assembly

The same programme will be repeated at the same venue the following day.  The theme for the Assembly; “Imitate their Faith” is drawn from Hebrews 13:7. On each of the two days, the programme is scheduled to start at 9.40 in the morning.

This theme is significant because it underscores a core value for Jehovah’s Witnesses; faith in the true and living God Jehovah and His written word the Bible. Witness families embrace the Bible as the most trustworthy guide and source of advice in these troubled times.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that we are living in the last days, hence, the importance of imitating the faith of ancient servants of Jehovah who demonstrated their unflinching faith in the living God through their obedience as reflected in their words and deeds.

The Bible is replete with many examples of men and women of faith worthy of emulation and some of these will be discussed at the Assembly to encourage all in attendance to strengthen their faith.

Unlike any other book, Jehovah’s Witnesses recognise that the Bible has the power to transform lives. At the Assembly, the following questions will be answered; Why should we imitate the good example of others?; How can we take as a pattern the faithful example of the prophets?; How can we imitate the Apostle Paul’s example as an evangeliser?; How can young ones demonstrate qualities worthy of imitation and, Why must we choose our associates wisely?

The programme will no doubt appeal to people of different ages, young and old alike.

Worldwide, there are over 8.2 million Jehovah’s Witnesses serving in more than 118,000 congregations found in 240 lands and islands of the sea.
