Why Nato opted for Rollers

“Zac (Zakhem) made it clear to me that they would have met my demands if they were fighting for the Top 8 cup and the league, just as they did last season. Remember I had trained with GU since January and they were my first choice when I returned,” he said.

Rollers then approached him and he signed on the dotted line. He would be with the Blues for four months before an expected return to Atletico de Kolkata in the Indian Premier League.

The Zebras vice captain said he will still consider GU in future although at the moment he has a job to do at Township Rollers. Since breaking into the top flight in 2008, Nato has only played for GU in the local league before his move to South Africa.

Meanwhile, Nato said he has not been affected by a case before the Botswana Premier League where Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Gilport Lions are challenging his move to Rollers.

“I know my story, I know my situation that’s why I am not worried. I spoke to the coach and team manager and everything is fine. I am not worried,” he said.
