Her defection was long written, sealed and spiced with Indian aroma. The old hag finally jumps ship!

You see, it is when some of us decide to view things at a much broader angle that Facebook looney tunes and praise poets start to mummer delusional perceptions of one. For the sake of peace we decide to focus less on reality, but it always comes to that era that enough is enough, and truth has to be said. Nasha had shed her political milk teeth ages ago, parachuting her to a status of our local iron lady. From her glory days to her humiliating defeat at the hands of Dumelang Saleshando, Dr Nasha had remained a none nagging member of the BDP. Receiving a number of favours from the BDP leadership which returned her to parliament she never nagged, until now it became clear it was time to give room for others. Dr Nasha then deliberately turned overnight into a nagging queen, a dramatic character and finally an old hag. Her numerous attacks on the BDP leadership became hysterical and a joyous scene for opposition fanatics. Nasha had now grown a far bigger head than any politician ever in Botswana. She believed she could hold the ruling party at gun point. At post 2014 general election, she was seen in many encounters dinning and wining with UDC leadership. She further assumed she would assault reality and the past generosity of the BDP by landing yet again in parliament as Speaker of the national assembly, yet visually in a love triangle with the opposition. The old hag was cartooning herself.

It was just before the unavailing of Gomolemo Motswaledi’s tombstone that Dr Nasha was seen with the UDC leadership and a former statesman whose loyalty should also be questioned, dining and wining at a local dining place. This is where she was convinced to now jump ship. Upon jumping ship she ceremoniously is appointed advisor to the UDC, ok who appoints someone who lost elections to Saleshando as their advisor? Akanya hela...

The domination of the liberal party, the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) within the UDC has clearly left many in the Botswana National Front (BNF) and Botswana Peoples Party (BPP) in a hogwash dream. Things happen, and what they can only do is ululate. The likes of Moeti Mohwasa now dash to give reports on the defection of old hags at a super speed he failed to demonstrate while contesting for general elections. The old hag’s defection to the UDC is for sober minded people a cure for the BDP. Bit by bit the BDP is shed off old hags whose only lust is positions. Nasha should be given the reception she deserves, for an old nagging hag remains an old nagging hag.
