In an interview with Arts & Culture, Gofamodimo said Fashion Passion Promotions is an agency promoting models and artists to local and international platforms. She also indicated that the outfit started off in 2017 as a fashion show known as Gabs Fashion Passion. But she later registered the agency after identifying those loopholes.

“We sign different kinds of models with ages between 16 and 35 years from different race, and size in a way to present them to different platforms both locally and internationally. Jack’s Gym recently signed us with a year sponsorship even though we have been working with them since 2018 as our sponsors. The gym provides free gym membership for our models and free gym space at the aerobics to train the models,” she said.

Gofamodimo also explained that through that opportunity, their models get to be groomed for modelling projects locally and internationally.  She also said ever since they started with the gym they were seeing results. She added that they would be launching a gym brand with one of local fashion designers alongside Mbongeni Magubane who is the signed South African artist to the agency.

In five years or less, this young entrepreneur said with the projects in the pipeline they would have great achievements. Gofamodimo also said they intend to own a powerful gym brand selling online and at local clothing stores across the country and the world. She added that their gym clothing line would be manufactured at Fashion Passion Promotions warehouse.

However, the duo’s agency experienced some challenges. She pointed out that their main challenge was getting their models well-paying modelling gigs. She further said they hoped locals would come on board and help grow it digitally. She also stated that they would soon organise local and international gigs for their models adding that they had currently made connections with people from Italy and Poland.
