‘Manong’ is his first studio-recorded project as a solo artist. The artist has not been much active as a performer. He composed, arranged, programmed and recorded the song. It was mixed and mastered by Lame Letlaatlaa at Lebzamos Studio. Manong is a kwaito piece, which tells how the artist has been betrayed by close allies.

Before the current project, he worked with renown stars such as the late Bujo Mujo, Mapetla, Khoza, Culture Spears, Matsieng, Vee Mampeezy, and Matona just to mention but a few.

“I remain hopeful and I want to believe that as I now house myself into the industry, the welcome will be warmth. When people hear my songs, they are transported to a special place I have created for them. The music is meant to lighten their load and make a difference in their lives. As music evolves with time, I decided to stick to the older kwaito basics and rhythms and chose to improve the content to be more meaningful,” he revealed.

Just like other artists, he said he faces some financial challenges. For example, on several occasions, he said he produces songs and due to lack of funds he ends up failing to finance production of Compact Disks.

He said this is one of the reasons he has been in the music industry for so long without an album. Furthermore, he explained that he learnt that when one grows as a person, their music also grows with them. In the past years, since his album with Masika group, he said he gained remarkable experience in the music industry.
