The institution’s founder, Dr Tiroyaone Mampane said during the unveiling of the certificate that this signified a declaration to stakeholders that quality was at the core of what they offered.

He said as pioneers of private healthcare education providers, there was need to ensure that they provided quality assured programmes.

“It is also a declaration that quality is a central feeling for the way of doing things and we will continue to strive to enhance academic excellence, exceptional customer experience to satisfy our customers, being the students at the college,” Mampane said.

He said this is a demonstration that citizen enterprises are ready to play an important role in re-imagining a new Botswana within what the economy is currently experiencing due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Mampane emphasised the need for everyone’s effort to reposition Botswana as a preferred destination of choice for investments, by bolstering an economy that is reeling from the effects of COVID-19.

“If there has never been a time to appreciate what Boitekanelo College is all about, it is today. It’s been through this pandemic that at least both government and the private sector have employed between 200-300 of our graduates when the whole world has been paralysed. This continues to demonstrates the role Boitekanelo College plays as a partner to government on training health professionals,” he added.

He said the need for healthcare professionals is high the world over, and Boitekanelo College wants to be part of the solution to close the gap.

The Minister of Transport and Communication Thulaganyo Segokgo applauded Boitekanelo College for being a trendsetter in their innovativeness and quest to provide quality education.
