SRC president wins against New Era

Diteko filed an urgent application after last week’s suspension, which was effected from January 11 to March 31, 2016 by the school authorities.  In his founding affidavit through his attorneys Motswagole and Company, Diteko wanted the court to nullify his suspension and be reinstated at the college to continue with his education.

He also said upon reinstatement, he should be afforded remedial tuition and all other facilities to make-up for the school time he lost as a result of his suspension.

He also sought the court to order the respondent to avail to him, at its own expense, such facilities, both educational and rehabilitative, as would fully address loss resulting from his suspension as well as all attendant emotional and psycho-social consequences.

He also wanted New Era College to bear the costs of the court application on the scale between attorney and own client.

Dambe granted all the orders sought by the SRC president.
