Sebego, Malesu appeals hearing start today

The two were vetted out of the race last week, but immediately appealed the BFA Elections Committee's decision.

A five-member Appeals Committee, led by former University of Botswana vice chancellor, Professor, Bojosi Otlhogile will sit this morning to hear the appeals.

The first session is at 10am, followed by another at 2pm, before the final one of the day at 4pm.

It is unclear at this stage if there would be a decision today.

The BFA general assembly has already been moved from August 8 to 22, to allow time to conclude the process.

However, there are concerns over holding the assembly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which restricts gatherings.
