Unarmed Thief Shot Five Times

The Thursday shooting left two armed robbers dead but it was the sight of the bullet wounds of unarmed Sefhare youngster Boikobo Kenosi that left relatives and friends concerned.

After checking Boikobo at Princess Marina Hospital on Saturday relatives found his body peppered with five bullets, even though Boikobo was unarmed when he was found in the cashier’s office at Jamali wholesalers at G.West Industrial.

According to the relatives, Boikobo narrated how he had his rams in the air indicating surrender, but the police had none of it, as they pumped five bullets into his body as he watched them his hands still raised high.

According to the relatives, one of the five bullets tore and broke his right arm, while two bullets were fired into his right leg, and the other bullet hit his tore.

On the right leg, two bullets buried themselves into his thigh and had to be removed at the hospital, while another bullet buried itself below the belly and also had to be removed at the hospital, according to the relatives who saw the Sefhare born Boikobo on Saturday.

Boikobo, who stays in Bontleng at a multi-residential home, only completed serving a seven-year jail term in Mahalapye in November, according to his friends.

The friends of Boikobo tell the Monitor that they were unable to take pictures of the  28 year old as the police officers guarding the ward would not allow them to do so.
