Gunners Brush Aside Miscellaneous

Gunners dominated the game and prevailed through goals from Moemedi ‘Jomo’ Moatlhaping, Emmanuel Machinya and Daniel Chimuku. Tse Nala’s errors at the back gifted Gunners a penalty in the 17th minute and Moatlhaping opened the scoring.
In the 25th minute, Monageng Thaele had to replace Bonno Mosea after the latter came out worst from a tackle.
Miscellaneous’ Resaobaka Thatanyane asked Wagare Dikago questions in the 32th, but the keeper was equal to the task.
Immediately after the second half commenced, Tse Nala made a substitution with Malvin Chipunza making a way for Mponang Mponang. Miscellaneous tried to come back into the game, but Dikago stood firm.
Machinya doubled his side’s advantage in the 63rd minute, finishing a swift counter attack initiated by Thaele and Kemmy Pilato. Machinya immediately made way for Chimuku soon after he had scored.
Mponang, who grew increasingly influential in the second stanza, continued to probe the Miscellaneous goal finding the side net in one of the raids. Keleepile Terata’s free kick was narrowly wide in the 67th minute as Miscellaneous sought to half the deficit. The Peleng boys sew up the match in the 86th minute when the influential Chimuku fired in the third goal.
Gunners coach, Daniel Nare said it was a good game for the supporters.
“We have been playing too many draws and we have not been playing well because of the mistakes we make. I think we should have done much better against Orapa, but today we have a 3-0 win which is a good boost ahead of a very difficult match against Mochudi Centre Chiefs,” Nare said.
Miscellaneous coach, Russia Chaba said the result worries him. “I am very much worried because we lost with a very high margin. This is the second game losing with this kind of margin, and that tells me that my defence is not okay. We can create obvious chances, but the problem is converting,” he said.
