Since the start of the season, Chiefs coach, Mike Sithole has lamented lack of firepower upfront but should be pleased with how his charges responded against Satmos last weekend.

Attacking midfielder, Tendai Nyumasi grabbed a memorable hattrick with the other goals coming from Lemponye Tshireletso and Senatla Molefe. Chiefs are looking to sign a foreign striker with Kekaetswe Moloi attempting a move to Extension Gunners.

His move, however, is still pending awaiting the Players’ Status Committee’s (PSC) deliberation on the matter. In the meantime, Chiefs’ hopes rest on Tshireletso who seems to be hitting form at the right time.

Tshireletso was again instrumental for Chiefs in the second round last season when they won the league.

Interestingly, the winger was linked with a move to GU in the just ended transfer window. A win for Chiefs will keep their title chase on track but they will remain third, two points behind log leaders, Township Rollers. Rollers take on Sankoyo Bush Bucks in Francistown tomorrow.

GU on the other hand, will hope that their victory over Miscellaneous last weekend was the start of a good run.  They have not been consistent and have fired two coaches already. They will pin their hopes once again on top striker, Benson Shilongo for goals. They hope youngsters, Karabo Phiri and Obonwe Maome once again come to the party. They were both on the score sheet in the 3-1 comeback victory against Miscellaneous. GU are currently seventh with 30 points.

Assistant coach, Bashi Dlamini believe they can come up with a victory if what they are doing at training is anything to go by.

He however said Chiefs is an experienced side, which can be difficult to prepare for. GU will be without right back, Willie Gaotewe and goalkeeper, Goitseone Phoko through injuries.

In another interesting encounter, Orapa United are home to Jwaneng Galaxy tomorrow. Orapa remain unbeaten at home this season, but face an unpredictable Galaxy side. They have not conceded a goal in the last five matches. Philani Mabena has proved to be a good tactician and face Madinda Ndlovu who is a proven winner.

Orapa United will be without key defender, Olekantse Mambo, who is serving suspension. They slipped to position two last weekend following their draw with Extension Gunners. They have the same number of points as Rollers, but with an inferior goal difference.

In other games tomorrow, Gunners take on Miscellaneous at the New Lobatse Stadium while Nico United host BR Highlanders in Selebi-Phikwe. BDF XI lock horns with Motlakase Power Dynamos in Molepolole.

On Sunday, FC Satmos take on Police XI while Gilport Lions lie in wait for Green Lovers.
