Motlakase added 12 players in the January transfer window

Oris Radipotsane has taken over temporarily and club chairperson, Gaolathe Kelesitse told Mmegi Sport they looked beyond relegation when they signed the players.

It is the highest number for the midseason transfer window, with Radipotsane bringing in three from Galaxy. “Radipotsane recommended all the players we have registered this transfer window and although we have lost, we have seen an improvement in our performances in the past two games. We believe we will be able to rescue ourselves and come out better in the future,” he said.

Radipotsane confirmed the developments at Motlakase and also reiterated that the team will survive relegation.

“Well, it has been difficult in the past two weeks because we haven’t been able to work with all the players we have signed as their papers were still being processed. We also had problems with some of our players who were unsettled by the transfer window. We relied on a make shift team, but there is improvement. Now that the window is closed, the players are back and they understand their status with the team. They have lost a bit of fitness, but we are conditioning them and I think going forward we will do better,” he said.

Radipotsane said they have signed talented youngsters within the Tswapong region, most of whom are students.

“We don’t intend to put pressure on them. They are students and we want them to grow at a steady pace, we will keep introducing them to the team as per their response in training with the senior team,” he said.

The 12 new players in at Chouka are; Vusi Musi Chibiya, Otsile Seanego, Gabathomphe Tsheko (all from Jwaneng Galaxy), Mogakolodi Balatotse from FC Satmos, Lapologang Motlogi on loan from Sua Flamingoes, Mpho Oduetse from Tsabothe, Thero Ntau from TAFIC. Players registered for development are Phetogo Lorato, Aobakwe Solomon, Ismael Moengo, Ketshabile Motlhe and Ramoraka Maphakela.
