Sands Modelling Classes located at Village opened its doors this week with the registration of models currently underway.

The modelling school only caters for girls aged between 13 and 24. At the age of 20, Grynberg has undertaken a number of modelling short courses in the United States of America.

She was an assistant choreographer during the Miss Botswana 2013 pageant. She had been a part of International Modelling and Talent Association (ITMA) in New York.

“Opening this school was the right thing coz I have been approached by a number of young girls a number of times asking me if I can show them some modelling tactics,” she said. “I have decided to open a platform where I will be sharing my expertise.”

She said the school will focus on a number of elements such as catwalk, make up, and photo shoots.

“We are not strict with size, The school is open for anyone interested in joining regardless of their size as this will also help create confidence in individuals that are confident with their bodies”. After spending six months at the modelling school, graduates would receive a certificate and a Z card portfolio that they could use when applying for modeling jobs.

The school will also organise a fashion show for models after every six moths.

This is the second time that she has established a modelling agency. The first time was during her teen years after she attended a course in USA.

With the help of her mother, she managed to operate the school.  She has been actively involved in helping develop the modelling industry as she has previously held free modelling workshops in Maun and the capital city.
