Karabo delivers gospel album

The authentic tracks in the album include Morena O Baetele, Bonang Lerato La Jeso, Eli, Tlong Go Jeso, Kgotso Kgotso, Re Rata Fa Re Bona Jeso, Mathong A bona, Tsogang Le Rapele and Go Lokile.

The album is furnished with beautiful melodies of gospel in Setswana. According to the energetic gospel artist the album has motivational words that can lift up the spirit of troubled individuals through the comfort of the living God.  He elaborated that the album gives hope to the people in jail, hospital beds and facing difficulties in life to be born again and surrender their problems to the Lord.

The album starts with Ke Ngwana Wa Hao, which reflects that when people are in pain or facing difficulties they lose hope in their supreme being. The song gives them comfort that even if one is a wrongdoer or whether they are in happiness or misery they will forever remain a child of God.

Keitibetse said that the second track is Morena O Baetele, which has straightforward lyrics, as they talk about the sudden visitation of the Lord to all the people who are misfortunate so that they can repent and follow Jesus Christ.

Additionally, he featured Best Mogale and Botsogo Modise to compose the song.

He said that Bonang Lerato La Jeso comes third with its lines flawlessly a dedication to everyone who has enjoyed the fruitfulness and miracles of The Almighty.  The gospel artist added that the other track Eli talks about the time when Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross.

“If you may remember well in the bible, Matthew 27:45-56 reads that at the night hour Jesus cried with a loud voice saying ‘Eli, Eli, lama Sabachthani’ that is to say, ‘My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me?’” he said.

He elaborated that his music is a combination of things happening in the bible and real life issues.

He said that other tracks that are in the album are Kgotso, which is followed by Matlhong A Bona. Keitibetse said that other tracks consist of Tsogang Le Rapele meaning let us consult with the Lord and pray.  Lastly, Go Lokile features Botsogo Modise.

The musician said that the album was recorded, mixed and mastered in Zimbabwe at Ingwe Studio and was produced by Nickolus Morupisi.

He said that the late South African gospel singer Oleseng Shuping and Kenny Mankweng from Johannesburg inspire him.

He said that he grew up a staunch member of the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) and his talent was groomed in the church choir. “After five years in the industry, I have been working with different gospel artists in the likes of Modise, Kabo Thaelo and an acapella group ‘Multiple Choir’, which was made up of the youth.

My inspiration is from the entertainment industry grew  up in, and I decided to release my own album Ke Ngwana Wa Hao,” he said.

Keitibetse advised the youth to be born again and remain in the table of the Lord so that they can receive their blessings.
