Kutlwano Dominate Volleyball Awards

Both the Kutlwano men and women’s sides pocketed P100,000 after being crowned champions of the just-ended season. Kutlwano further pocked P40,000 for winning the men’s Mascom Top 8 tournament. In the women’s awards, Tebogo Sejewe of Kutlwano was adjudged the season’s best server and was crowned the most valuable Mascom Top 8 player.  Another Kutlwano player, Shadrack Kapeko picked two awards, most valuable player and best male player in the Mascom Top 8.

Tsholofelo Retshabile of Mafolofolo was chosen as the best female player of the top eight tournament. Mafolofolo received P40,000 for winning the Mascom Top 8.

Mafolofolo also received P70,000 for finishing the league in second position. Kalavango got P60,000 for third position finish. BDF VI received P60,000 while Police VI pocketed P70,000 for second spot finish.

Best female attacker award went to Gaoleseletse Gasekgonwe of Mafolofolo and the best male attacker was Kabo Moetse of BDF VI. Phemelo Lekoko of Spiking Stars was voted best attacker in the men’s game. Tsholofelo Retshabile of Mafolofolo walked away with best blocker award while Pastor Rebabonye of Diphatsa was the best male blocker.

The best libero award went to Kebabonye Phofedi of Kalavango. Uponi Gabobewe beat Meshack Mutambirwa of Kutlwano and Molebi Rabosigo of Spiking Stars to emerge as the best libero.  Kelebogile Mahupela of Mafolofolo took home best setter award while the male setter was Tjiyapo Madeluka of Kutlwano.  Best women’s coach award went to Dopp Popo and Isaac Samuel of Kutlwano was voted the best in the men’s game.

 Print media award went to Calistus Kolantsho (Mmegi/The Monitor), the radio award went to Monnakgotla Mojaki (Gabz fm), while Thompson Keobaletswe (BOPA) was adjudged best photographer.  Best television reporter award went to Motlalepula Mashuga of Btv.
