On the other hand, Forest intend to continue with their dream of gaining promotion to the Premier League. Plans for Enos Mmesi have been tempered with as two defenders are unavailable. Mmesi told Mmegi Sport that playing Forest is not just any other game, but pride is at stake as he has to prove his worth as a coach.

“I cannot lose to the same team twice.  Other teams depend on me to stop Forest.  We are ready for the battle. I am putting my head on the block that whatever maybe, I will win the match,” said Mmesi.

He said despite losing two players, he would come up with a new plan of replacing them with midfielders.

Forest tactician, Murphy Maseko said his charges are ready for the game. He said they are expecting a tough encounter and the plan is to play their normal game. He said they do not want to put themselves under pressure as that can make them lose focus. He said they would use the first few minutes of the game to study their opponents’ style of play before they start attacking. He said they would be coming into the game without veteran striker, Sadat Sinare, who suffered an injury in training.

“We have three players who have passed trials and we are waiting for the registration process to be concluded. We have recruited a central midfielder from ECCO City Greens, a striker from Kazungula Young Fighters and a winger from Tonota FC,” revealed Maseko.

He said playing on Sunday is advantageous because it gives him the chance to watch Black Rangers against Prisons XI on Saturday.

Maseko said the two teams are his next opponents and the available six points are important in his quest to gain promotion.

In other matches on Saturday, Mochudi Rovers welcomes Sharps Electrical in Mochudi while Rolling Boys entertains Modipane United at SSG ground.

On Sunday, Santos travels to Mogoditshane where Fighters will be waiting. Lesirane welcomes Notwane in their backyard at Lesirane ground.
