No major changes for Forest

Club chairperson, Ditiro Mompati said the plan is to continue fighting for promotion to the Premier League with the same squad. He said they believe they have enough depth to handle any pressure.
He said if there was need, they would bring in only one or two players. Mompati said they could do that by promoting players from their development side.
“Our target was to finish the first round at the top and we have achieved that. That has always been our plan all seasons, but unfortunately we were disrupted by unforeseen circumstances,” he said. He said preparations for the second round are going on smoothly. He revealed that they did not have a lot of matches during the midseason break, and that gave players ample time to rest.
Meanwhile, Enos Mmesi said he would finish the season with Ramotswa-based Letlapeng. Speculation was rife that Mmesi was on his way out. He said the club management has convinced him to stay. He said he has changed his plans for the side.
Mmesi said: “I want to concentrate on improving our position on the log standing. I will start off by reversing the loss we suffered in our last match against Forest. If we win that game, it will be a motivation. They beat us 3-2 and we are going to reverse that. I cannot be their ticket to the Premier League. They will get that somewhere else not from me.”
He said his target was to get a top-four finish and that was possible with the quality of players he has. He said Letlapeng did not have a good run at the beginning of the season due to many factors such as lack of players who could compete in the First Division League.
The team was using young players and it was difficult to win games. Mmesi said Letlapeng had now recruited a striker, two defenders, three midfielders and a goalkeeper. The new signings were expected to bring the much needed results to the team. He said Letlapeng lacked power upfront and that was going to change.
