BOFEPUSU Submit List For Wage Talks

In the list submitted by the BOFEPUSU secretary general, Tobokani Rari early this month, the Manual Workers Union, also known as the National Amalgamated Local and Central Government and Parastatal Workers Union, tops the BOFEPUSU membership list with its 30,855 membership list submission.

Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) is the next biggest in union membership with its 18,629 members.

The Botswana Sectors of Educators Trade Union (BOSETU) have submitted 15,258 member list.

The Botswana Land Boards, Local Authorities & Health Workers Union (BLLAHWU) have submitted 12,242 member list.

The PSBC embarked on a membership verification process following the notice by the Botswana Public Employees Union (BOPEU), with 28,000 public service employees and another 6,000 or so from parastatals, that they have pulled out of the BOFEPUSU.
