Nlu started training with the Peleng giants on Tuesday.

Nare said Nlu remains an Orapa United player until negotiations are finalised. “Louw remains Orapa United player and they know that he is training with us. We will have to sit around the table and complete negotiations before our weekend encounter,” Nare said on the sidelines of Gunners training session this week.

The experienced defender has been a game changer at Orapa United. The skilful centre back has on several occasions helped Orapa United keep clean sheets. Mandla Mgadla, who has been with Gaborone United, has joined the Lobatse side.

“We can rise to a better position and that will depend entirely on how good or bad I sign,” Nare said.

Nare further said preparations for the next round are progressing well. “We are progressing well despite issues related to the nature of transfer window. The transfer window is a very busy time for both players and management, but we are coping,” Nare said.

The mentor further said Pako Gaofose has since resumed training after resolving contractual issues.

“I can’t complain. All players have reported to camp and we have lost 10 players due to issues related to contracts. Most of them are out of contract and some have expressed interest of leaving. It is the nature of the transfer window; you lose some players and some will come. We only have one injury, Pako Makopo and Modisaotsile has also experienced a slight knock on the ankle but it is not worrisome,” said Nare.

Nare said his intentions are to sign a goalkeeper, a central defender and a midfielder.

“I want to sign more players since some players here are not ours,” he said.
