Rollers spokersperson, Bafana Pheto said the technical team will make a decision on their former striker.

The Zimbabwean is said to have shown interest in re-joining the club after his short term deal with Thailand Division One side, Chiangmai, came to an end in December last year.

“He met with some of our players in South Africa, then visited our training the next day where he had talks with the general manager. However, the technical team will have the final say on the issue,” Bafana said.

If Mandaza is to rejoin, Rollers would have to reduce their foreign quota and possibly release Namibian import, Jerome Louis, on loan. Gilport Lions and Extension Gunners are said to be interested in Louis.

Pheto confirmed that Gaborone Football Academy star, Ocean Lottering has been training with the team and the club will release some of the fringe players on loan.

“He (Lottering) travelled with us to our camp, where I understand he made a good impression on the games he played.

We are waiting on the coach’s decision on him and other players who did not get enough game time in the first round,” he said.

Meanwhile, winger Kobamelo ‘Swere’ Kebaikanye who missed the team’s training camp in South Africa faces disciplinary action. Pheto said the player is likely to be charged over breach of contract.

“He missed the team bus, we then arranged that he travels with our general manager a day after and still he did not pitch up. His mobile phones were off.

This is a clear indication of lack of discipline and we will deal with it accordingly because he has a contract with us,” he said. Kebaikanye, who was a regular under Madinda Ndlovu last season, has been used sparingly by coach Mark Harrison. He has made only nine appearances this season, netting a single goal. The 24-year-old reportedly wants out, but Pheto said he will not be released.

“He has made allegations in the media that the coach told him that he is not in his plans. Those allegations are not true.

He is an asset to the team and he is still in our plans. He and Galabgwe Moyana are the only left wingers in the team so we ought to keep him,” Pheto said.

This is not the first time Kebaikanye went AWOL. He missed three training sessions in January 2014. The Molepolole-born star’s contract expires in December.
