Chub Heightz keeps it real

Marked Men Records-signed rapper ,Chub Heightz featured Motswako rapper Touch Motswako on the conscious laid back beat produced by Taipo.
In Never change, both rappers are talking about staying loyal and humble family, friends, the hood and the hip hop culture without any influence by what they come across through their fame.
“Never change is a heart felt song that addresses the will to remain the same as a person, no matter what circumstances one is faced with. It encourages one to never give up and stand by one’s beliefs, especially during times of strife. Stand for what you believe in,” said Chub Heightz, explaining the concept behind the song.
“Marked Men is where my heart is found/ never gone against the fam so am not gonna start now/ I still got the same God in my soul,” Chub Heightz raps in the first verse.
The interesting part about Never Change is the collaboration between two lyricists that have a different rap approaches. Chub Heightz is renowned for his stylish English raps while Touch Motswako jumps in with some deep Motswako lyrics filled with metaphors and rhymes.
The song carries more weight on the lyrical side. The combination of the two emcees brings some rap energy to the song which makes one to quickly relate to the song.
Sonically, Never change was well laid. The quality is up to standard, blending beautifully with the message of the song. The beat on its own is musical with that jazzy element.
Never change is the first single from Chub Heightz’s upcoming album Bandleng King. The song is available for free downloads on the rapper’s respective social network accounts such as Facebook, Sound Cloud and Twitter.
The track is already receiving airplay on different radio stations.
