The Blue Nation remain unbeatable in the league this season although their unprecedented title chase has recently been rocked by two consecutive draws. They played to a 0-0 draw against Orapa United a fortnight ago before their 1-1 stalemate against BDF XI last Saturday.

“This is to give our supporters in the north an opportunity to see their players, club spokesperson, Bafana Pheto said. “Remember Rollers is home wherever we play as long as it is within our borders.” He encouraged the supporters to come in large numbers as that would determine whether they should consider bringing more games here in the future. Pheto said they would not undermine Nico just like every other team they play.

“We expect a tough game,” he added. “We are a team to beat at the moment and every other game is like a cup final, but we rarely disappoint and we will win this game.”

Meanwhile, Nico United are excited about the fixture and eyeing to cause an upset. Majombolo will be looking to bounce back to their good spell, which saw them go six games unbeaten since the beginning of October. They amassed 14points in the process, but their impressive run has been declining and only managed to scrap two draws and a loss in the last three games. “Francistown is home away from home for us and it is a city not far away from our home town,” club spokesperson, Ace Orapeleng said. “We expect our supporters to come in large numbers,” added the club spokesperson. He said moving the game to Francistown brings a lot of positives for Nico United as it would work as a cost saving measure. “We are thankful for that, but I can promise that we will be relentless against them,” he said. “This is a Christmas present for our supporters and it would not have come at a better time.”
