The Central Boys finished top of Group A with seven points in a pool that had North East, Gaborone and Kweneng.

In the first game, Central beat North East 3-0 and then won 1-0 against Gaborone, before they concluded with a 1-1 draw against Kweneng.

Kweneng took the other semi-final spot after gaining five points from a draw and win. They played to a 0-0 stalemate with Gaborone and demolished North East 2-0.

Gaborone finished third with four points. In an interesting contest in Group B, Francistown was paired against Lobatse, Southern and Selebi-Phikwe.

The Peleng boys finished top with superior goal difference after finishing on five points (one win and two draws) followed by the hosts with a similar number of points, Southern finished third with three draws while Selebi-Phikwe came last.

In the semi finals, Central face Francistown while Lobatse take on Kweneng.

Both matches will be played today. Central and Francistown dominated the girls category to advance to the semi-finals, both finishing first with seven points in their respective groups.

Kweneng also finished with seven points in Group A, but the hosts had a superior goal difference to claim the top spot. Kgalagadi finished second in Group B with five points and qualify alongside Central.

In the girls’ semi-finals, Francistown play Kgalagadi and Central face stubborn Kweneng. All semi-finals will be played today at the FCTVE and old Francistown Stadium.
