Mchivestoh, who started as a dancer for a group named Marroski in 2009, has finally decided to venture into a solo music career.

“I started as a dancer and I managed to make it on my own,” Mchivestoh said. “I have seen a lot of growth in my music.”

The ambitious artist from Metsimotlhabe said his music is different because he is one of the artists locally who decided to sing about twerking dance move. He said he had always wanted to be a big artist.

“People love my single because it creates a different feel,” he said.

He also added that his family recognized his ability as a performer, and he was grateful for their support. He however regretted that his parents died unaware of his talent.

Mchivestoh thanked his producer Zolasko for helping him to release Tweggah.

“Zolasko is the only artist I look up to and he introduced me to a lot of things,” he said.

The kwaito kwasa musician indicated that his talent in music didn’t surface until 2011 when he started writing songs. “I now write songs for myself and it has been inspirational,” he said.

Mchivestoh, who is a fulltime musician, pleaded with Batswana and established artists to support his music. He added that he wanted to feature in big music shows. Given the chance, he said, upcoming artists could become successful. He told Showbiz that his ambition is to one-day represent Botswana in other countries through his music.
