Rekunde to headline MyMaun Experience comedy night

Organizers say there will be a comedy night on December 27, 2015 at the Cresta Rileys Hotel. The event comes with the package of the My Maun Experience alongside Major Moves Comedy.
Coming in as no surprise and leading the pack will be Maun-based Rekunde as the main act of the night. Other local veterans, including Mawee, Phenyo The Master, Zozo as well as Boniface will support Rekunde. The crew has been going around the country performing at most major Comedy events, which have become quite popular over the year 2015.
Familiar faces for the local will be Ouza, Stix as well as Lira.
The event will kick off at 7pm at prices will be P250 for the VIP, P150 for the double ticket and P 100 for the singles ticket.
One of the organisers, Dose Mosimanyane of D.O.C entertainment said “every year we try to come up with new initiatives, this year we thought of bringing a comedy show to the already packed line up of event”. Mosimanyane said the show; set to leave attendants in stitches, will be after the annual breakfast run.
“The idea was to have local Maun comedians head-to-head with the so called already established comedians, most of whom have been performing countrywide but this will be the first ever time some of them perform on their home ground,” he said.
He added: “For some, it will be an opportunity to be against the best and gain recognition from some of the media and organisers set to attend the event.”
My Maun Experience has branded itself as the premium go-to destination as the year ends. Its promotion of Maun as the destination of choice for year end holidaying, has seen the festivities gain popularity over the years.
