The meeting follows the one that was held in Gaborone, where the interim committee was given mandate to see how investors could be brought on board without violating standing procedures.

Club spokesperson, Bafana Pheto confirmed they will meet the supporters at Mmaphula Junior Secondary School for a final meeting before the January annual general meeting (AGM). “We will update them on the mandate they have given us as the interim committee. We will put forward all the models, which the club can follow in bringing investors on board.

They will then help decide maybe on the final three of which we will then choose the final one before the January meeting,” he said.

Pheto also said they will ask the members to assist on how best the club constitution could be amended to accommodate the models and investors.

After the selection of the preferred models on Saturday, the interim committee will then be expected to consult experts on the final selected models for advice on which one would best suit the club.

“At the January meeting, we will then put forward the model which we think best suits the club and the reasons for that as well as reasons for rejecting the other ones. Then after discussions we can endorse the preferred model to bring in investors,” he said.

The interim committee was formed after the intervention of the Botswana Football Association (BFA) president, Tebogo Sebego following accusations and counter accusations between some key members of the club.

This followed a court case in which the High Court judge, Justice Leatile Dambe, ruled that it was unconstitutional for a company (Township Holdings) to be running the affairs of the society.

The company is equally owned by Somerset Gobuiwang and Jagdish Shah at 40 percent shares each with the remaining 20 percent held by the society.
