But the club maintains it cannot discuss the issue further as it is clear Ralesotla’s mind is elsewhere.

The player, who has 11 goals in 14 matches, has reportedly set his sights on joining Gaborone United.

Ralesotla acknowledged receipt of contract from his present employer and said he was not happy with the deal.

“I have received a contract from Green Lovers and there are certain elements in the contract that I feel should be changed.

I was given this contract and expected to sign immediately, but I couldn’t. I read it and I am not happy that is why I did not sign.

“It is not a question of me wanting to leave I just thought maybe we can discuss it further and see if we can find common ground.

I have since alerted the management, but they are not forthcoming.  I am still waiting for an improved offer,” Ralesotla told Mmegi Sport.

Lovers mentor, Onthusitse Kootswele said they had offered the player a contract, which he has not signed. “We offered him (Ralesotla) a contract and he refused to sign.

He took it home and he said there are some clauses he does not agree to.  We asked him to bring the contract for discussion and he did not.

“We don’t see the need to discuss this matter any further because it will derail our preparations and we don’t want to loose our focus.

It is clear to us that the boy has got his mind elsewhere.  At the moment, he is still our player and he is our child.

We will give him all the support he needs and we will continue to respect him and his wishes as we do to all our players,” he said.

Furthermore, Kootswele said they will be busy in the January transfer window.

“We are eyeing two local players and two international players to beef up our squad.

We have identified one youthful player in the Premiership and another in the First Division.

We will also have two internationals coming for trials and one is a striker.  That is all I can say for now,” he said.
