The one-sided encounter saw Peleng giants romp to an easy victory with Daniel Chimuku having a good game out wide. Kemmy Pilato netted the first goal in the 10th minute, taking advantage of a disjointed BR Highlanders backline.

Gaofose then increased the lead in the 17th minute as the floodgates were opened before he grabbed his brace in the 29th minute.

Highlanders tried to break Gunners, but found them solid at the back.

Wagarre Dikago was sure footed between his posts as he saved a threatening free kick in the 42nd minute. Gaofose completed his brace in the 44th minute as Gunners finished the first half on the ascendency. The Peleng giants did not relent as they continued to bombard the Highlanders rearguard. Letlhogonolo Mosala sealed the win with a low shot in the 60th minute.
