Majombolo are in fine form, having won all their last four outings with convincing margins.

The team’s is on position five with 21 points after 13 games while their opponents are one position above them with 25 points from the same number of games.

Since the beginning of the season, in their seven home games, Nico have lost only once to table-toppers Township Rollers and have not conceded more than two goals.

Magosi played six games on the road this season, won four, drew one and lost one; they scored eight times and conceded five.

The two teams have met 10 times since the 2010/2011 Season. They both played five home and five away games with Magosi winning 7 times, drew once and lost twice.

They scored 18 and conceded 10 goals. Out of the possible thirty points, the Kgatleng giants got 22 and Majombolo got seven from their recent meetings.

 “Our preparations are going ok, this is just another game like  any other.

We will stick to our style of play but we know it is going to be a very good game. We had minor injuries, but we had a long break with the international week and the cup week, I hope all the players will be available for selection. We are prepared,” Nico United coach, Wesley Mondo said.

His counterpart, Mike Sithole said their preparations are going smoothly although they have few knocks from the cup.

“The preparations are going smoothly. We are trying to slow the players down from the cup games and they are responding well.

We also have other players who did not take part in the cup, so we will see what we do. We don’t have serious injuries, it is just a few knocks here and there but we will be ready,” he said.

In other matches, Township Rollers host unpredictable Green Lovers at the National Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Popa are top with 33 points while Lovers are 11th with 15 points.

Gilport Lions play Orapa United at the Lobatse Stadium  trying to break the Ostriches’ 11-game unbeaten streak. The Lions are 12th with 14 points while Orapa are second with 28 points.

On Saturday, evening SSKB Stadium will be the battleground when BDF X1 take on Police X1.

The police side started the league sharply but their league form has slowly deteriorated. BDF X1 are third with 26 points while Police XI lie five places below on 19 points.

Galaxy FC and Miscellaneous meet in a showdown of debutants at the Galaxy Stadium in Jwaneng on Saturday. Extension Gunners host BR Highlanders in Lobatse this evening while Motlakase is at home to troubled Gaborone United.
