The song is the second single from his latest album Supernatural Vol.3 it celebrates his 12 years in the music industry.

Unlike his first single Africa, Happy brings a much different feeling and ignites a ‘happy’ festive mood.

Like most of Vee’s songs, Happy is a dance track and has an element of club.

The ‘dance wena mama, dance wena daddy’ vocals at the beginning add more excitement to the high intensity beat and encourage the listeners to get on their feet and dance.

Speaking to Showbiz about the song, Vee said Happy is a track he always felt he should sing about.

“I feel that approaching this time of the year Batswana should be cheerful and happy is just a song for them,” he said.

Vee said he declares the song as a hit for December.   He said the song is stronger than most of his songs from Supernatural Vol.3.

“The song has been received well by Batswana and currently I am on tour and it has been receiving so much love,” he said.

Vee, whose real name is Odirile Sento, went on to say that the video of the song is also better than most of the music videos from Supernatural Vol.3.

The video of Happy was published on YouTube last week Tuesday and it had more than 6,500 views within its first week.

Batswana also showed a positive response looking at the comments on the YouTube video.

The video was shot in a beautiful location and depicts the festive aspect of travelling and going on vacation.

The video captures the carefree mood of the festive season as they are seen dancing on a fast moving boat.  The Takutaku hitmaker said he would be on the road until next year taking his album to the people.
