Organic Live Sessions wraps up in style

The lineup will have the likes of Kabo Leburu, Ntirelang Berman, Genius Senyatso and upcoming artists such as Fifi Boloseng and Makgosi Tau.
The closing show is dubbed Organic Live Sessions Amplified.
“This show stands to be a grand finale to the succession of the sessions we have been hosting since August dubbed as Organic Live Sessions,” said Gothusang ‘King Blak’ Caiphus, who is heading the open mic sessions.
The interesting part is that all these headlining acts have previously performed at the open mic session on a solo tip.
This time around they will share the stage in one session.
Organic Live Sessions has hosted a number of upcoming artists giving them a platform to exhibit their skills, “The event came as a concept inspired by the challenges faced by a lot of upcoming talent in different art fields”.
Musicians, poets and storytellers have been the dominant artists at Organic Live Sessions.
For some it was the first time to get a platform of performing in front of an audience.
It has also been a platform where they get an opportunity of performing with a live band.
Within its period of operation this year the open mic event has hosted over 50 artists.
In terms of audience Organic Live Sessions has been a crowd puller in its own right.
Apart from being an entertainment platform King Blak stated that they have certain objectives that they are trying to achieve through the event.
“Our objectives are to create a platform for upcoming and established artists, to create employment and to create a form of alternative entertainment”. The event will be back next year, “Once we have more shows the quality of the show will improve and we will take it to TV. Next year we are launching Organic Live Poetry, which is a 12-piece collective of different artists”.
