Chiefs complete semi final line-up

Only two teams, Rollers and BDF XI have previously won the cup while defending champions, Gaborone United were thrown out on Sunday.

Chiefs are looking to reach their first final after a humiliating exit in the last edition where Nico ran riot beating them 3-0 in Selebi-Phikwe before the Kgatleng side saved face with a 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture.

The fans dream final would be between traditional rivals, Chiefs and Rollers but BDF XI and Orapa United have proved formidable.

Chiefs and Rollers have beaten BDF XI in the league this season, but Orapa remains unpredictable and a potential banana skin.

Orapa United coach, Madinda Ndlovu has made it clear that it would not be far fetched to go for the league title and with the arsenal he has at his disposal, winning the Top 8 competition would not come as a surprise.

Rollers huffed and puffed to a 1-0 defeat to Police XI on Sunday, but remain formidable opposition and favourites for a second Top 8 title. Mark Harrison has arguably the best squad in the land in terms of talent and depth, but cup competitions are unpredictable. The draw date has not been announced. The semi-finals would be played in February next year over two legs.
