Kedidimetse is facing a single charge of defilement that allegedly happened on July 6, 2013 at Lerala village. Mosweu warned him he could be locked up even before the resolution of his case after the goal-keeper failed to appear in court last week Tuesday. According to state prosecutor, Moses Serojane, the trial was meant to commence last week, but  the accused did not attend the session because he had confused his set dates.

“The trial could not commence on Tuesday due to non-attendance of the accused who claimed to be confused by the trial dates,” said Serojane. In her response, Mosweu notified the accused to take court business seriously especially during trial sessions.

“We cannot afford to amend dates for people who choose not to comply with court sessions. I am giving you one last chance. Next time you will await trial in custody,” Mosweu warned him. The goalkeeper will appear for trial on April 3, 2016. On another matter, Chief Magistrate Rebecca Motsamai advised Oagile Bareetseng (18), a Form Four student at Lotsane Senior Secondary School who is facing a murder charge to apply for bail soon at the High Court to make way for his Form Five final examinations next year.Motsamai was responding to the bail plea for first accused, Moreetsi Tapologo. In her response, Motsamai said that as the magistrate, she does not have the power to grant bail in murder cases. “I do not entertain bail on allegations of murder because I do not hold any power as a Magistrate to grant your plea. However, you can apply for bail at the High Court and as of the second accused I will advise you to apply sooner before schools re-open next year so that you await trial outside to make a way for your final exams,” she said.

The two accused persons, Tapologo and Bareetseng, are facing a murder charge arising from the killing of Thabo Ntlhalefang, 23 on November 2, 2015 at Medlock bar in Extension 2 in Palapye.

Sergeant Thuso Tsie, for the state, made an application that the accused be remanded in custody as they still await post-mortem results. Both accused appeared in person and they will be back again on December 2 for Case Management Conference.
