The gig had an endless line-up of various DJs such as DJ Fauz, Kuchi, Anthem, Khenzo and Ricky Lamar to mention just a few.

The theme of the event was all-black where revellers were expected to come decked in black. Most of them came in black outfits though a few broke the rules as they wore other colours.

It took a while for the venue to start packing up as the sun went down because some revellers preferred watching the Zebras-Mali match on TV first. As time went on DJs played their respective sets and mixes of various music genres such as Hip-hop, House, Ragga and Kwaito.

The tempo of the night came towards midnight as Pavilion was now packed with the reveller. The mood was alive and relaxed at the same time.

A set by DJ Ricky Lamar, Khenzo and Phouboy did the trick as they mixed house music with Hip-hop, while Khenzo was on his traditional vinyl set and providing the scratch effects.

The three DJs played simultaneously giving music lovers a great experience. On the dance floor revellers showcased various dance moves.

Amongst the revellers were notable faces such as Nijel ‘DJ Zoro’ Amos who was awaiting his turn at the decks. He seemed to enjoy himself immensely as he was on the dance floor most of the time.

Birthday boy DJ Chrispin took over the decks just after midnight. This time everyone was on their feet dancing to his mixes. His set had a mixture of local and international music as he started off with Drama Boi’s hit Candy.

DJ Chrispin’ set took the party to another level as he also danced while mixing on the decks. After his mix on the decks he said: “I am really glad of this turn out and the level of maturity that the revellers have. I will work on another event like this” he vowed.
