Galabgwe, Masule out of Mali tie

Coach, Peter Butler said Moyana would sit out due to injury while Masule has been released to attend to family matters.
“Masule’s sister recently passed away. I thought he should be with family and so I let him go to take care of his family. Galabgwe is not 100 percent fit, but we have agreed with his team that he will stay on.
“I have brought in Sunday (Kabelo Mooketsane) from Gilport Lions. I have followed his progress.
He has scored some goals so far and played for the Under-20 team. He is also well versed and we know what he can offer us on the left side. We have also brought in a goalkeeper, Robert (Mosimanegape) from Orapa. We have cover in all positions and we have a healthy, good squad,” he said.
He added the return of Omaatla Kebatho is a boost for the team. “Kebatho played 88 minutes for Vasco in their last game. He had put a little beef while he was out injured, so he has lost that weight now.
He will come back, but we have lots of competition for places, especially that the boys are in very good form,” he said.
Furthermore, Butler dismissed the weather advantage and applauded his charges for their morale. He also refused to be drawn into the statistics of the two teams.
“I don’t see the weather as an advantage for us, it depends on our preparations. We are going into a game where we feel we can make an impact. We have good morale and we have a good bunch of lads. We will be prepared properly. “I don’t really worry about the past. The past is in the past. I am a here and a now person. We move forward, we are positive and confident,” Butler said.
The coach also commended fans from the northern part of the country for their support.
“The northern corridor of Botswana should be the home of football. I still have that belief and the fact that the majority of players we have come from the north. I have no doubt they will come and pack the stadium and get behind us again,” he said. He said he would field a positive attacking side, and would continue to do the right things for the country and the people.
