FCC go all out to �keep� Zebras

The Zebras play Mali at the Francistown Sports Complex on Saturday.
Francistown mayor, Sylvia Muzila told a recent press conference that the aim is to engage all sectors ahead of the game.
“Our PRO (Public Relations Officer) has gone to the schools to engage students. We are also informing the Ipelegeng people so that they are also not left behind because these are the people that can help us take the message to households.
“We want the message to reach many people across the city and we will make sure the community of Francistown rallies behind the Zebras,” Muzila said.
She urged the community to work hard and leave the Zebras with no choice, but to make Francistown their home.
“We don’t have a team in the Premiership, but if we work together we can have the Zebras here and maybe things will get better for us. We want to see ourselves as the home of the Zebras therefore we must work hard so that when the Zebras are here they win.
“Even if we don’t win the game, let us make sure that the support we give the Zebras will be enough to leave them no choice but to give us the team,” she said.
The mayor added the Zebras games bring business to the second city and people should come together and rally behind the team. “The informal sector and small business people benefit from the Zebras games that come here. People benefit a lot from the Zebras. For all the games to come here, let us have the Zebras win 3-0,” she added.
