Irate fans were gunning for his blood after a goal that condemned after the Lobatse side suffered their eighth consecutive league defeat. 

Gunners coach, Daniel ‘Chico’ Nare was left seething with fans trying to manhandle the referee.

The hosts grabbed the three points through Kenanao ‘Flo’ Kgetholetsile’s 52nd-minute effort.  But Nare felt the referee’s decision cost his team.

  “It is really painful to prepare for a game and lose it simply because of the referee,” he charged.

 Winning coach, Philani Mabhena felt the game was fair and said the match officials had handled the tie well.

He said they worked on defending and changed their game plan 20 minutes into the second half.

He added that their intention is to move away from the relegation zone.
