Botswana Senior Treble Triumph Over Singapore Netball

They kicked off their tour with a friendly match against the senior national team last Wednesday and captain, Portia Rasekhumba led the local side to a comfortable 44-32 win.
On Friday they took on the national Under-21 side and the visitors redeemed themselves, winning by 37 to 34. On Saturday, Singapore team played the senior national team once again and the local side completed their double over the visitors with a 33-26 win. Notable faces including Tumisang Bagidi and Rasekhumba led Botswana team.
The two sides met again yesterday the in the last series of the matches with Botswana once again coming tops.
They have won all the three friendly games against the visiting side.
The friendly games boosted the local side’s confidence ahead of a six nations tournament taking place in Singapore next month.
The tournament features the hosts as well as Botswana, Namibia, Northern Ireland, Chinese Taipei and Papua New Guinea.
Botswana will select 12 players for the tournament, which takes place from December 13 to 19.
