Berry Heart appeared on the stage wearing black lingerie and performed her latest single Hottest Girl In Town as contestants paraded in swimwear.  The crowd, which seemed bored before Berry Heart went on stage lightened up when she performed Berry Heart For Dinner.

“This is my first performance in Francistown, but so far I am impressed by the attendance and the beauty that reigns this side,” she said. Berry Heart said that she would release an album early next year, which she said would have more vibes. The beauty pageant had 14 contestants who were battling it out with the hope to be crowned Miss Francistown. Pearl Ojahile was crowned Miss Francistown 2015, while Thato Mothibi was crowned first princess and Tshireletso Jahile second princess. Ojahile, a young woman who hails from Mmadinare, is a fourth-year student at ABM pursuing Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management.

The queen walked away with a fridge, a foot spa machine and a gift voucher from AUD Fashions Boutique. The first and second princesses were awarded a microwave and a braai stand respectively.  The rest of the contestants were compensated with hair irons.

One of the organisers, Neo Thelma Harverye, revealed that she partnered with Kesego July, Ofentse Phodiso and Lucky Nkhurutshi to host the pageant. “It was very difficult to organise the Miss Francistown 2015 pageant and bringing in Berry Heart as the main act due to financial limitations,” Harverye said. AUD Fashions Boutique and Adansonia Hotel sponsored the event. The famous poet shared the stage with the likes of Ozzy and Tsikitsiki.
