The defending champions will be playing their second game under new coach, Dragojlo Stanojlovic after parting ways with Rahman Gumbo last week. They have been blowing hot and cold this season, but registered a victory against Jwaneng Galaxy last weekend. BDF XI on the other hand will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after their shock 3-1 defeat at the hands of Miscellaneous last weekend. Both GU and BDF XI are well equipped on the wings with BDF XI hoping to rely on the skill and speed of Kabelo Seakanyeng.

The nippy winger has been in scintillating form for both his club and the national team. He will be up against GU left back, Katlego Koobake who has also been doing well since joining GU this season from Gunners. GU will once again pin their hopes on Kgololo Kgogobi and Mandla Mgadla to try and unlock BDF XI’s full backs. The two sides recently met in the league with BDF XI coming tops with a 1-0 win.

This evening, Mochudi Centre Chiefs will be away to Gilport Lions in Serowe. Lions will be making their debut under the new name and management, having participated as BMC before. Chiefs on the other hand are still looking for their first success in the tournament since it started four seasons ago.

They have also failed to reach the final in all the editions. Chiefs are still reeling from a defeat to bitter rivals, Township Rollers, in a league match last Sunday. Coach Mike Sithole expressed disappointment at his defence against Rollers and will be hoping for an improved performance against Lions, whose top man, Tendai Nyamadzabo, is on top form.

At the National Stadium tomorrow, Rollers take on Police XI in what is expected to be a thrilling match. Police XI, who started the season well, have been firing blanks recently. They will be without Louis Minjali who is serving suspension after accumulating a total of three yellow cards this season. They will rely on the experience of captain, Betsho Pius as well as Phenyo Molefe for goals up front. Rollers are spoilt for choice with all their departments fully equipped with talented campaigners.
