Meat Girls are at the peak of the log standings with 13 points from five games while Legends are on 11th position having lost all of their games. The fixture look more like a walk in the park for the log leaders.

However, Meat Girls’ coach, Isaac Simane will be aiming to keep the top spot and widen the gap between them and the other teams.

“Like I said this is a very competitive league so we want to win each and every game and see where we stand come end of the season,” he said.

Coach for fourth-placed Township Rollers, Gaolethoo ‘Ronaldo’ Nkutlwisang, told Mmegi Sport before her team’s training on Wednesday that, they take every game with desired seriousness because they want to win the remaining matches to make up for their bad start to the season. “We did not have a good pre-season because of many reasons such a school commitments of some of our players. But on Saturday I will be having a full squad. The preparations have been going well and we hope to get positive results,” she said.

Last season’s champions, Rollers, will welcome South East Girls United (SEGU) at the MmaMasire Grounds on Sunday. SEGU have managed to collect only four points out of a possible 15.

In the other games on Saturday, rookies Gaborone United will welcome fifth placed Makufa SC, while bottom placed Untouchables face UB Kicks. On Sunday, Big Sisters will welcome free-scoring Double Action at the Ledumang Senior Secondary grounds. Double Action have banged in a total of 15 goals in their last five games.
