Sankoyo Bush Bucks

They first played competitively in 2000 and the club has become one of the fastest growing football clubs in the country. Ngurungu is the first club in the Nhabe region to gain promotion to BPL.
The club was formed by young boys in the village of Sankoyo, some 60 km from Maun. The team affiliated to the Nhabe Regional Football Association and played for two seasons in the lower Division One and rapidly progressed to the National First Division (North) League. 
Sankoyo Bush Bucks gained automatic promotion to the Botswana Premier League at the end of 2013/14 season. 
The club is based in Maun which is Botswana's Tourism gateway to the Okavango Delta. Since the start of the campaign, Bush Bucks won its first two consecutive games and managed to salvage a point against defending champions Township Rollers.
The team is made up of relatively young players, the majority of which helped it to promotion. Key players include their captain and central defender, Modiredi Matengu, Zimbabwean recruit Morris Ruzivo as well as a few old heads in Mmoloki Kafuku and Mmoloki Moilwa.
