Motlakase Dynamos

The club initially enjoyed the support and sponsorship of Botswana Power Corporation until 1992 when BPC ceased to sponsor all sports codes.
Motlakase football club became the only active club which managed to sustain itself through member subscriptions and management contributions and donations from business community.
Some of its founding members, Reuben Gaseitsiwe (late), Mr Benson Moseki (late), Mr Bashi Gaampone (current President), Mr Sibanda, Mr Matlhoame, Mr Douglas Mazambi and Tom Thedi.
Some of the club’s achievements include attaining a top 8 position in the 2013/14 season as well as FA Cup finalists in 2011. The team showed great patience and perseverance for playing in First Division League football for the past 16 years without sponsor when the only support was from member’s contributions.
The club had the ambition to develop its own Sport ground and was successful to acquire land and started initial stages to develop the infrastructure. Due to financial constraints and challenges to meet the obligations of catering for the team for league operations, the funds could not meet and sustain completion of the last stages of the stadium. Hence the project was deferred.
The team is looking forward to getting funding from the commercial institution in the 2015/16 season to complete the stadium.
