Mochudi Centre Chiefs

 

 

The school was named after a missionary woman who was in Botswana and in a bid to commercialize the team, they engaged a company called Ribbon Investments comprising of the Jamal family 60%, Mclean Letshwiti 20% and 10 %Ernest Molome. The Trust owns the other 10%.
The team has won the league three times. The first came in 2008 unbeaten, then in 2010/2011 and the following season they managed to defend it. Mochudi have won the BFA Coke Cup in 2008 and were runners-up a couple of times.
Louis Tlhowe was the first player to go to South Africa to join Jade East Dynamos in South Africa. Noah Maposa and Pontsho Moloi went to Bay United and the likes of Dirang Moloi spent time at Vasco Da Gama while Jerome Ramatlhakwana, Joel Mogorosi, Galagwe Moyana, Mara Moloi and others have played in the Democratic Republic of Congo. 
The team has also competed in the CAF Champions League and played against the likes of TP Mazembe.
