We outplayed Rollers � Nare

Gunners pressed Rollers for the entire second half but missed several opportunities, which could have seen them register their first win in seven games.
“Who was the man of the match? It is Kabelo Dambe. That tells a story. If the goalkeeper was the man of the match, it shows I was doing something better than Rollers. I was attacking more than them,” Nare said after the game.
All the goals came in the first half with Rollers striker, Jerome Louis catching Gunners defence napping in the first minute and slotting the ball past Wagarre Dikago. Gunners equalised through Pako Gaofose 13 minutes later following a defensive blunder by Rollers.
But the celebrations were short-lived as Segolame Boy headed home Tshepo Motlhabankwe’s corner, moments later.
Nare said he is still trying to find the right combinations with his squad.
“I still do not have the first 11 and I am trying different players until I get the combination that I want,” he said.
Nare also felt the referees should have done a better job with regard to the Louis goal, which he felt was scored from an offside position.
He said he expected Rollers to come with two centre midfielders and try use the pace of the likes of Joel Mogorosi on the wings.
“I went with the same system, but I killed one wing so that I add one on the midfield for ball retention, which I had.
They had no answer to Chimuku (Tshegofatso) because I gave him the free role,” he said.
Nare pointed out the weakness in his team is upfront, but vowed to work on it. He said Mokoka is not yet up to the required level probably because of lack of confidence since he has not been on the score sheet for a while.
“I need to work on his confidence a bit, but on the balance of play I am impressed and I shall work more,” he said.
Gunners take on Nico United away tomorrow before they meet Orapa United in the Mascom Top 8 quarterfinal first leg.
Rollers coach, Mark Harrison admitted his side were under immense pressure in the second half.
He said his team edged Gunners in the first half and deserved to go to the half time break with a 2-1 lead.
“Second half we could not get a grip in the midfield. They controlled the midfield and put us under a lot of pressure.
But you cannot always control games and that is for sure. It does not matter who you have got in your team,” he said.
However, Harrison praised his players for being able to defend the box despite being under so much pressure. He said the rotation in his squad helps keep his players fresh for games.
Mogorosi, Dambe, Moyana and Boy returned to the team after being given a break against Miscellaneous following their involvement with the national team last week.
Rollers face another tough encounter against Mochudi Centre Chiefs at the National Stadium on Sunday.
