Only three points separate the two teams; with Miscellaneous having 15 points, while Green Lovers have 12. The two teams are fresh from weekend defeats at the hands of giants, Township Rollers and Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

Lovers lost 1-0 to Chiefs while Miscellaneous went down 2-0 to Rollers.

Tse Nala are sixth while Lovers are 11th. The two teams’ last encounter was during the Serowe Agricultural Fair where Lovers humiliated their big brother, 4-0.

This season, Miscellaneous has played five games at home, winning three, drawing one and losing once.

They have scored 12 goals and conceded 11 goals.

New boys, Lovers on the other side have won three of their five home games and losing twice. They have scored 15 while conceding 22. Green Lovers coach, Othusitse Kootswele told Mmegi Sport preparations have been going well.

“We have no pressure to lose because we know that we will be facing our big brothers, the question is will they accept the defeat?

We know this will be a difficult game since we are fighting for the town and it will be our first time to face each other in the Premiership,” said Kootswele.

He said they have three injuries from the previous game with striker, Doctor Radipompo, Batshani Masika and Mpho Ramarula all doubts for this evening’s encounter.

Miscellaneous mentor, Russia Chaba said they will not change much from their game against Rollers. He said his team does not take Lovers light looking at their previous encounters.

“This will be a difficult game as each team wants to prove a point.  I believe it will be an exciting game,” he said.

He said his boys had long been undermining Lovers, but since their last game they know they have to compete.  Samuel Phiri is out through suspension.

While in the First Division, the two drew 1-1 in the first round before Miscellaneous won the reverse fixture 3-1.
