Orange �Pompa Lebotha� all for charity

One of the beneficiaries is the Lady Khama Charitable Organisation who has fostered a relationship with the network since the beginning of the competition early this year. On Friday it was another day that Orange unveiled two more winners who walked away with P100,000 each but the biggest smiles went to the charity organisation as each draw means more proceeds to their trust fund.
The organisation’s trustee and representative, Mpho Mothibatsela, said she was happy that Orange Botswana continues its efforts of changing the lives of those that are less privileged. She acknowledged the efforts saying that as a charity organisation their survival relies on donors and that the innovative idea by Orange was a noble one.
“Each draw we become excited as the organisation it means we are able to provide for the less privileged, especially the vulnerable children and women with the money we get from Orange and their subscribers who are the biggest players in all,” she said.
Mothibatsela also encouraged subscribers to continue playing even when they are not winning saying that at the end of the day their efforts pay off as they help in taking care of others who need them the most.
“The more you play, the more our organisation will benefit so don’t ever think that your efforts are just a waste because unknowingly you are making a difference in someone’s life and that’s the biggest win ever, its not always about you being the winner and walking away with money, it can be winning someone’s heart through the smiles you put on their faces,” she said.
Representative for Orange Botswana, Mosarwa Molema, said the competition have so far proved valuable to most of the winners and those that benefit from it.
He explained that the competition was started as a noble gesture to improve the lives of those that are unfortunate, with many prizes on offer including airtime and different cash prizes.
“The winners are not only those that are in the city and surrounding areas, as you see that we have one winner from Pandamatenga now, and more prizes including airtime, and cash amounting to P400,000 have so far been won,” he said. Molema also encouraged subscribers to play more as the competition continues with more prizes to be won, maintaining that the more an individual plays the more proceeds to the organisation increases and also their chances to be the winners. Meanwhile the latest draw winners who are the third and fourth winners to walk away with P100,000 cash prize were Lebelelang Kefalotse from Molepolole and Thomas Thomas from Pandamatenga.
Kefalotse (31) says her money will go towards sourcing a piece of land for her children. The self-employed lady expressed her gratitude for being chosen the winner saying she was one step closer to securing a future for her two children.
