Police XI face Orapa United tomorrow

The two sides are evenly matched looking at the last four matches, with a win for each side and two draws.  The Jungle Kings have not won in Orapa and to compound their problems, are without a goal in the last two visits, where they lost 3-0 and only managed a 0-0 draw.

Police X1 sit above the Ostriches in position three with 19 points while the Orapa side is fourth with 18 points. So far this season Orapa United played five games at home, winning four times and drawing once to preserve their unbeaten run. They have scored six and only conceded twice.

While the Ostriches are yet to lose at home, Police XI have lost two games on the road, drew one and won one.

Police XI coach, Maxwell Moyo returns to face a team with which he agonisingly went close to winning the title before settling for second last season.

Moyo started the Ostriches’ unbeaten run at home last season, but will not be on the bench as he awaits his work permit.  His assistant, Maitumelo Lotlamoreng said preparations are going well and used the international break to their advantage. “Our preparations are on course and everything is going on well. The boys are working hard and we are pleased. We have no injuries although we have only one suspension, but that is not a great deal because we have a good team.

We are coming from an international break, which came as an advantage for us. We managed to sort a few things out without any pressure.

“We are visiting Orapa knowing very well that we are going to fight to earn points. We are well aware of their good record at home, but that will not put us under pressure instead that might just motivate us,” he said. Orapa United’s coach, Madinda Ndlovu chose not to comment.
