The home team would be without reliable goal getter, Emmanuel Thakadu for Rollers’ visit but expect to compete. Rollers are top with 21 points while Miscallenous are sixth with 15 points after a good start.

“We respect Rollers, but that does not mean that we will not compete,” Miscellaneous Coach, Russia Chaba said. “They have had unbeaten run and we also haven’t lost any game at home, so it is going to be an exciting game.

We will not give up easily, we promise that we shall fight with all we have for a win, and if we fail to win we will settle for a draw.”

Chaba said they have beaten Rollers only once in the last four meetings and are eager to change that.

Apart from Thakadu’s hip injury, Miscellaneous are at full strength. With the help of their 16 year-old Resaobaka Thatanyane, Chaba said that he is confident the boys shall deliver on the day.

Township Rollers coach, Mark Harrison said: “We have been training for the last two weeks without six of our key players due to national team assignment. We are obviously expecting a difficult game. We have also put into consideration the fact that we will be playing one team, which does not condone losing at home. But we shall compete.”

Harrison said with expectations of supporters, the players always go the extra mile.

“We are in a difficult situation where fans expect a win from us every time we play. That is unrealistic, but with no injuries in the camp we shall do everything to impress them,” he said.
