Sponsor refutes bias claims as Boy bags award

beMOBILE immediately dismissed claims of bias arguing that every one had an opportunity to vote for the best player. beMOBILE representative, Leornard Seone refuted claims of bias in the voting procedure. “It is not all about Township Rollers,” he said. “All teams are participating and we believe all Batswana are involved in voting for the winner. We encourage all to do the right thing when voting.” Boy said the accolade could not have come at a better time for him; he is in camp with the Zebras as they prepare to face Eritrea tonight. He won the inaugural award in August.

He said: “I will go into the game very motivated and I hope I will perform to my best, that is if I get a chance. These awards keep encouraging me to always perform at my outmost best.

“I would encourage other players to work hard and train even harder to try and win this award, but the way I see it I am going to continue winning this award until the very last one.”
